Sports Activities
Association believes in ‘Health is Wealth’. As
a result they have been promoting the motto of ‘ashun kheladula kori nijakay
shusto rakhi’. Based on this motto recently Bangladesh Australia Association
organised Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament which was held at the ANU
Sports Complex.
On every Sunday the Badminton enthusiasts play Badminton at the Belconnen
Community Centre from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. Anyone interested to play can

Cultural Activities
Association is running a Bangla language and cultural school in Canberra for more than twenty years. Many children of Canberra community have learned to speak, read and write in Bangla language fluently by attending the school. The School also teaches music and dance and participates in cultural functions in Canberra.
Bangla school venue is Canberra College, Woden Campus in Launceston Street, Phillip ACT 2602. Admission is open anytime of the year. School opens every Sunday 10 am to 12.30 pm during Canberra school term.
